At LEAST 2 Tutoring (R)

At LEAST 1 Club Sponsored (R)

(not all events posted by NHS are considered club sponsored unless specified)

1st Semester:

-AT MOST 10 Hours of volunteering over summer may count

-Form with summer hour should be turned in on or before the Oct. meeting

-Emails w/ member's name and volunteer description specified are accepted

Community Hours

10 Community Hours 

(Recommended NOT Required)

Community Hours:

Volunteering events found on your own. Must have an adult (not your parent) sign off

  • Not NHS Sponsored (may be posted on website)

At School Hours:

AT LEAST 10 AT SCHOOL HOURS (Rest of the 10 hours may be community or at school hours) service hours performed in school like helping a teacher in the classroom (doesn't have to be found on the nhs website). Must get staff to sign off.

AT LEAST 1 CLUB SPONSORED HOUR (ONLY IF STATED CLUB SPONSORED!! NOT ALL EVENTS POSTED ON WEBSITE ARE CLUB SPONSORED) Club promotes an event but not all events that are mentioned by NHS are club sponsored hours.

IF TUTORING IS DONE AT PC, IT DOES COUNT AS AT-SCHOOL HOURS!

IF TUTORING IS DONE ANYWHERE OUTSIDE OF PC, IT WILL NOT COUNT AS AT-SCHOOL HOURS!!!!!!!!!
